Brian is an incredibly skilled litigator, trial attorney, and problem solver, always with an eye toward his clients’ ultimate goals and needs. For this reason, other attorneys often call Brian in to assist them in handling complicated or challenging cases.
In 2020, the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego presented Brian with an Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award for his trial work in Jane Does 1-22 v. www.GirlsDoPorn.com, a landmark case that exposed a San Diego-based sex trafficking venture that was operating under the guise of being a legitimate pornography company. The evidence Brian and his team presented during the civil trial caused the United States Attorney’s Office to indict the defendants for sex trafficking and production of child pornography. The defendants have since plead guilty to various criminal sex trafficking crimes, leading to lengthy prison sentences. The civil judgement Brian and his team obtained for their clients is now well over $24 million.
Brian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Indiana University and escaped the Midwest in 2004 to attend California Western School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate. While there, Brian was a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society and earned Dean’s List honors.
Prior to founding Holm Law Group in 2011, Brian was an attorney at a civil litigation firm with an emphasis on real estate and business litigation.
When he is not practicing law, Brian enjoys travelling, golfing, sailing, Indiana Hoosier basketball, Chicago Cubs baseball, and enjoying all that San Diego has to offer with his family.
Admitted to the California Bar, licensed to practice in all California State Courts, as well as the United States District Court, Southern District of California.
